The home-buying and building process is an exciting time for any future homeowner. But it can also be overwhelming. Two of the main challenges prospective buyers face are information overload and decision fatigue.
That’s why we at Premier Fine Homes have gone above and beyond to simplify our process and help buyers at every stage of their build.
After you’ve toured our communities, selected your floor plan, and locked in your build with us, you’ll visit our Design Center with your New Home Specialist. This is where your house turns into your home! The Design Center sets you up for success with a variety of ways to customize your home.
We now have a dedicated Design Center showroom in every active community we build in. For 2026, that’s The Conservation of Summerbrooke, Canopy, Landon Hills, and Fallschase. Inside the showroom, you’ll see, touch, and feel every finish option for your home. You can decide how the tiles are laid, see which backsplash pairs with any given countertop, and select which flooring gives your room a homey feel.
Keep reading to see what the design process actually looks like at Premier, and why so many buyers tell us it was their favorite part of building their home!
Our guiding mission for design has never changed: Deliver designs that are not just beautiful today, but that will feel like a new home to someone walking through the door ten years from now. That commitment to longevity over trend is the foundation of everything you will experience in a Premier Design Center.
A Premier Experience: A Design Showroom in Every Community
In 2025, Premier opened a dedicated design showroom inside every active community, changing the home-buying experience entirely.
Now, when you visit any Premier community: Canopy, Fallschase, Landon Hills, or The Conservation of Summerbrooke, you can tour the model home and step directly into the design showroom right there on site. One trip. One location. A one-stop shop with everything you need to envision and finalize your home’s interior.
The result? A more immersive experience for you as the homebuyer! You are not staring at samples on a desk in an office across town. You are standing in the community where you plan to live, surrounded by the actual finishes, laid out exactly the way they will look in your home.
Our Eight Curated Collections: Expert Design Made Simple
The Premier Fine Homes team has spent time developing and curating our eight design collections. Each of these collections is one cohesive interior package for your home. Think of a collection as a fully realized interior vision, a set of finishes selected together because they work together. Every collection covers:
- Flooring (LVP and tile options)
- Countertops (solid surface)
- Tile (shower floors, bath tile, accent tile)
- Kitchen and bath backsplash
- Cabinet finishes
- Fireplace surrounds and finishes
The collections we offer are displayed across our model homes, not just on small sample boards, but in full-scale living spaces. You can see exactly how the tile is laid. How the backsplash reads against the countertop. How the flooring changes the entire feel of a room. When you leave your design appointment, there is zero ambiguity about what your home is going to look like.
Your Two Design Paths: Simple or Personalized, Either Way, Beautiful
Two roads diverged in a Premier neighborhood, and you chose the one everyone traveled down, thank goodness! That’s because Premier’s design process easily serves two very different kinds of buyers, and everyone still leaves happy.
Path 1: Pick a Collection and Be Done in an Hour
If you want simplicity, you’ve found it. If you want to make great decisions quickly and get construction started, you can walk into the showroom, choose one of the eight curated collections, and be completely done with your interior selections in as little as one hour.
These collections have been developed by a professional with 25 years of design experience, refined through focus groups with realtors and buyers, and selected specifically for timeless appeal and resale value. When you choose a curated collection, you’re choosing an expert design without the time investment.
Path 2: Mix, Match, and Personalize
Let’s say you have a vision, you love the design process, and want to make it your own. Good news, you absolutely can! The eight collections are fully interchangeable; elements from one can be moved to another. Love the countertop from one collection but the backsplash from another? Let’s switch them. Prefer different flooring and tile combinations across collections? Absolutely possible.
Your New Home Specialist guides you through every option, helping you understand how things pair together and making sure your choices reflect your taste and lifestyle. You can fully immerse yourself in the design process, and Premier’s team is there for every step.
The best part? There is no wrong answer. Every single item in the Premier design showroom has been curated for quality, durability, and timeless appeal. You cannot leave with a bad result. Trust us, we’ve seen it all!
Quality Is Standard in Every Collection
Still a little nervous? Let us put you at ease; every collection uses the same standard of material quality. Premier does not offer a budget tier or a premium tier. The entire lineup is built around low-maintenance flooring, porcelain tile, and solid-surface countertops, materials chosen for beauty, durability, and the kind of easy upkeep that makes homeownership genuinely enjoyable.
Which collection you choose and which community you build in has no bearing on the quality of your finishes. That is a Premier promise!
Frequently Asked Questions About the Premier Fine Homes Design Center
Where is the Premier Design Center located?
Premier has an on-site design showroom inside every active community: Canopy, Fallschase, Landon Hills, and The Conservation of Summerbrooke. You visit the showroom at the community where you plan to build, no separate trip required.
How long does the design appointment take?
Buyers who choose one of the eight curated collections can complete all their interior selections in as little as one hour. Buyers who want to mix and match or explore more deeply will naturally spend more time, and Premier’s team is ready for both!
Can I bring my spouse or family to the appointment?
Absolutely! These are decisions you will live with for years. Bringing the people who matter most makes complete sense, and your New Home Specialist is experienced at helping groups work through decisions together.
What if I want something not in any of the eight collections?
Talk to your New Home Specialist. The curated collections cover the vast majority of what buyers are looking for, but the team is there to help you understand all available options.
Will my design choices still look good in ten years?
That is the core of what Premier’s design philosophy is built around. Every collection is curated for timeless appeal, not trend-chasing.
